2009 CBR600RR mirrors swapped over onto my FJ1200

Before/After

The stock mirrors gave me a great view of my shoulders, these are positioned a little better.

I've used this style on other bikes, the tradition continues......

Please let me know the details of the swap. Did the fairing bracket work from the honda or did you remove the mirror from the Honda bracket and use the FJ1200 bracket? One of my FJ morrors is has a broken stem (re-attached with epoxy) but needs to be replaced, so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

Thanks for the reply Eric - I simply swapped the mirrors over, pretty much bolt on. The Honda brackets were removed and tossed - The Honda mirror stems fit the FJ brackets quite well - although I do believe I used some of the Honda's bracket washers (to make them tighten up).

Details on your bike please -

Thanks Eric!

I have a 1990 FJ1200 (3CV) that I have been rebuilding and is pretty much complete, except for the mirrors. From the pictures yours appears to be in the same year range for fitment of the honda mirrors.

Thanks for you reply and your help!

Eric

Anytime -

Also, if you do not already have one, the 4 degree ignition advancer is a great modification. Really seems to wake the engine up.
