Gasoline prices

We've gone up about 35 cents per gallon here in the past few weeks.

The owner of a station in KC told me the prices were going up another 15 cents tomorrow.

And to expect at least $4.00 per gallon soon, possibly up to $5.00.

Reason given was Libya and the overall turmoil in that section of the world.

Libya is only about 2% of the oil scene, not sure why they would have this large of an impact.

Combination of the above and maybe a little greed tossed in?

Oh yea it's gettin' up there, guess im gonna have to get some heated gear so i can ride year round...

The last time fuel prices shot up, there was not a big increase in sales of motorcycles or scooters - people seemed to hunker down and save the cash.

Who knows what will happen this time.

Worst part to me of all this is that it is pure greed, there is no shortage of fuel, some are profiteering at the expense of others. :evil:
