The hunt for a new Coffee Maker Empty
PostSubject: The hunt for a new Coffee Maker   The hunt for a new Coffee Maker I_icon_minitimeFri Jan 11, 2013 9:25 am

Our coffee maker finally brewed it's final brew, it served us well for many years.

We started the search, and ended up at Bed, Bath and Beyond. What a selection!

We looked at dozens of models.

Checking the filter type, how easy is was to fill with water.

These were all in the hundred dollar range, and some fancy single cup brewers even more. I am not real keen on those, my wife and I drink a lot of coffee.

Finally we narrowed it down to a couple of units, both over a hundred bucks. As we were checking the inventory on the shelf - we saw something :o

A model that was not on display - only boxed.

We checked it out, easy to fill, the filter style we wanted, heck, we might even call it nostalgic in a way. It met everything we were looking for, something none of the others truly did -

And it was marked $29.99! Shocked

And you know what, Mr. Coffee brews a great cup of joe

12 cups at a time! :bounce:
